The UCT-9 features a PATENTED CENTRAL AERATION SYSTEM that increases the speed of composting by maintaining constant airflow and aerobic conditions - critical in keeping foul odor build up to a minimum. Designed for ease of use, the low-maintenance UCT-9 is easy to tumble in place - without the need for back breaking pitch forks. Optional Tea-Collector
Made exclusively for the Urban Compost Tumbler Deluxe, this 6-quart tea collector effectively captures "Compost Tea" -- the highly nutritious liquid effluent derived from the decomposition of food scraps. This liquid gold is a living solution of beneficial microflora and essential nutrients that may be utilized as a dilute fertilizer or foliar spray. This add-on device will allow composting to be performed on impervious surfaces like a garage or patio, without concern for pooling of compost leachate.
